Every now and then leather needs a little attention, just like your own skin. On this page you will learn the most important tips for maintaining leather:NUTRITION
Leather has to &#039;live&#039;, people sometimes say. And that&#039;s right! Only when the leather falls below a moisture percentage of 5% is it officially declared &#039;technically dead&#039;. By nourishing the leather every three to six months, you ensure that it stays beautiful and intact for longer. If you do not maintain the leather, it will dry out and discolor faster. In addition, you have a better chance of cleaning stains and lesser chance of permanent damage.MAINTENANCE
Maintaining leather is actually very simple. Dust the leather once a week, or use a slightly damp cloth. Vacuuming is also possible, then use a clean and soft furniture attachment. Respond adequately to new stains and use the maintenance products from the recommended maintenance set every six months to keep the leather in top condition.STAINS

                <description>RESTORING COLOURSmall scratches, superficial damage or simply discolouration from years of use? You can camouflage it with a custom color. The colors come directly from the LCK® color laboratory and are always appropriate.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Dig up the purchase receipt! Yes, that little receipt in that thick folder full of papers. The purchase receipt describes exactly which type of leather and color code belong to your furniture. As soon as you know this, you can easily order the original color in the webshop. Click here for the Keralux® colour repair set.
NO PURCHASE RECEIPT
In that case, there are a few alternatives:∙ A colour to RAL-number (just like in the paint shop!)
∙ A colour from a small leather sample
RAL-number
We can make almost any colour from an official (!) RAL-number. You need a RAL-card for this. Visit the local paint or DIY store, in some cases they lend out these types of cards (or fans) for free. Then pass on the number to us by email, usually we also ask if you want to send in a photo. For convenience, send this along in advance.Colour from leather sample
The best option is to send us a sample if you are unsure about the right color. Such a sample could be a small strip of leather of approximately 0.5-4.0 cm (about half the size of your little finger). Use the vacuum cleaner with a clean and soft furniture attachment to clean fabric furniture weekly (maximum 500 Watt) and thus remove house dust, crumbs and other daily pollution. The fabric is completely refreshed by lightly rubbing the fabric with the LCK® cleaning glove, using a few drops of Puratex® cleaning water if advised. The fabric is given a little moisture and superficial dirt is removed. The fabric shines again and stays beautiful for much longer.Weekly cleaning

Keep the surface free of dust, see above.Clean with LCK® cleaning glove and (if advised) a few drops of Puratex® cleaning water.Every three-six months

Put some of the cleaner on a clean cloth and work on the stain. Always work from the outside in and always treat a larger area than the stain itself.After cleaning with Puratex® cleaning water. Put a little destilled water in a container and immerse the LCK® cleaning glove/clean cloth and wring it out. Then wipe the cleaned fabric well from seam to seam. Repeat once if necessary.Impregnate the fabric with the Puratex® impragnation spray or Puratex® strong protector. Hold the unit at a distance of 20-30 centimeters above the fabric and spray a thin, even layer over the fabric. Try to keep the unit injector as vertical as possible. Let the fabric dry well. You can make fabric dirt and water repellent by protecting it with an impregnating agent. In the furniture world, this protective agent is used to extend the life of the design furniture. When your fabric is impregnated, liquids can penetrate less quickly. In other words, you buy yourself time to walk to the kitchen and blot up the liquid with a paper towel.Impregnation of fabric is certainly recommended on furniture that is used intensively. Think of corner sofas, relaxing armchairs and dining room chairs. After all, an accident is just around the corner. Fortunately, in many cases the fabric is also easier to clean if it has been impregnated beforehand.

Puratex®
The Puratex® impregnation spray and Puratex® strong protector are our most environmentally friendly products for fabric upholstery. Puratex® is odorless, colorless and does not affect the fabric. In addition, it is not manufactured through heavy polluting processes. You can therefore safely use Puratex® on your furniture. We have of course also tested this for you, check the maintenance advice to see which products are allowed on your fabric.APPLICATIONS?
Puratex® is used market-wide. From catering and hotel accommodations, to beds, sofas and luxurious velvet prams. Both the 500ml Puratex® strong protector and the 200ml Puratex® impregnation spray are very easy to use. You can impregnate an average corner sofa yourself in about 1-2 minutes. Because of the environment friendly properties you do not have to open windows and doors, the impregnation is dry after approximately 2 hours and works optimally after 24 hours.

TEN BASIC RULES
Always follow these ten basic rules: Keep dusting! It may sound logical, but weekly dusting is really 95% of maintenance. It prevents the build-up of household waste (dust) and ensures that your furniture stays nice and fresh. Tip: check whether the LCK® cleaning glove set is suitable for your furniture. Go directly to: maintenance advice.
Spring and Autumn cleaning. We advise to maintain furniture 2-4 times a year with the recommended maintenance products. This way you ensure that you can enjoy your furniture optimally, every year!
Fluids. Treat liquids as fast as possible without dabbing too hard. First, try to soak up the liquid with a sheet of uncolored kitchen paper. The goal is to prevent as much liquid (and therefore dye) from entering the fibers as possible. Then clean with the recommended cleaner and distilled water, see rule 10.
Solids like mustard and mayonaise you can easily remove with the blund side of a knive. Then again, clean with the recommended cleaner and distilled water, see rule 10.
Never rub or scrub! The damage could be permanent. Always be gentle and follow the package instructions.
Do not use regular household products! These often contains solvents, and you do not know how the agent will react on your upholstery. Use the recommended cleaner, or contact us. There is often more possible than you think!
Always clean an entire section. For example, after you have cleaned a stain on a back cushion, you should also clean the entire back cushion. If you only clean a stain locally, there is a chance that you will continue to see it.
Use the proper technique. If possible, clean from the outside in and not the otherway around. This prevents you from smearing the stain even further. Also follow the package instructions or, if you contacted us, the instructions in your personal treatment plan.
&quot;Let the knife do the job&quot;. For all our Gordan Ramsay fans, but instead of a knive we ofcourse use the recommended cleaner. Use the cleaner to remove the stain without scrubbing or appying to much pressure. If the cleaner is able, it will will always try to gradually dissolve the stain.
Do not use tab water! We cannot speak for the whole world, but here in the Netherlands not every household has the same water hardness. This means that tap water can leave very stubborn limescale deposits. These, more or like, &#039;circles&#039; are extremely difficult to remove. Therefore, get distilled or demineralized water from the supermarket or drugstore. This often costs only a few cents and always comes in handy.
GREASE STAINS (IN LEATHER)
Whatever you do, stay calm, because you don&#039;t need to do anything about most grease stains. What&#039;s up with that? Well, most leathers with an open structure have the property of absorbing small grease stains (such as gravy splatters) over time. You don&#039;t have to do anything about this yourself, except monitor it.Day 1: Remove as much solids and liquids as possible, using the basic rules above. Then take a picture of the grease stain and put a reminder in your calendar for next week.Day 8: Take another photo from the same spot a week later and set another reminder.Repeat this for about 3-4 weeks and compare the photos afterwards. Does the grease stain become visibly less noticable? Then please don&#039;t do anything about it, the stain will go away on its own. If not, please contact us and send the photos.

If the client exercises his right of withdrawal he shall notify the entrepreneur unambiguously with the standard form for withdrawal within the period of reflection. The client shall return the product or deliver it to the entrepreneur as soon as possible but within 14 days counting from the day following the notification has been sent. The client shall return the product in the original state and packing and in conformity with the instructions given by the entrepreneur. The risk and the burden of proof for the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal fall on the client. The client shall bear the direct costs of returning the product.Article 10. entrepreneur’s obligations in case of withdrawal
The entrepreneur shall promptly send a return receipt after receiving notification of withdrawal.The entrepreneur shall reimburse all payments made by the client., including paid delivery costs as soon as possible but within 14 days following the day on which the Entrepreneur has received the product. In accordance with the legal provisions, you have a trial period of 14 working days, starting the day after receipt of the goods (Europe). During the trial period you will handle the goods and the packaging material with care.
